That's a good record, but they played each Western Conference team twice. If they were Memphis, they'd have to play HOU, DAL, NOH, and SAS 4 times each. There's just no way that they'd have a better record than they do now if they played a Western Conference schedule.

you don't follow much basketball besides the Cavs do you? HOU is 2-1 vs PORT this year, the only game that PORT won was on a 30 ft Hail Mary shot by Roy in Portland. Houston handled them relatively easily the other 2 games. The team Houston fans want most is, you guessed it, PORTLAND.

The West's records are ALL inflated because 6 of the 7 worst teams in the NBA are from the West.
Cleveland has a better record against the West. The Lakers struggle a LOT more against the East.
The bottom half of the West AND East both play better and win more against the other West teams.
