I'm not buying for a second that its vertigo or anything unexpected.
Venus's reactions indicate the she knew that something was wrong with Serena from the beginning and didnt have much compassion for plight.
It looks as if Venus knew Serena was fricked up and was just hoping she could play through it. If it was something unexpected she would have gone to her sister right away and been like "are you ok?"

I don't know anything about vertigo but it was mentioned as a comment on a website. I figured since everyone on TD is a doctor, engineer, lawyer, athlete and millionaire, we could get some legitimate analysis.
