I usually laugh at stuff like this and find it hilarious. But for some reason when I saw this I just couldn't. Something was clearly wrong, and to see an all time great player just...fall apart like that was cringe inducing to me.
But by all means laugh away. I'm not shitting in anyone's cheerios and I can see how others would find it hilarious. So...laugh away.
I do have to admit...the gifs will be funny.

I'm surprised Venus let her go out there and actually perform like that. If she couldn't even warm up, why try to play when she's in that condition?

Same here. Venus really should have stepped in sooner.

That was my thought.
If she was really as bad as it sounded in warm-ups, someone should have not let her on the court. Whether that be Venus, a coach, referee (not sure he could do that though), etc.
The whole thing is bizarre.

It's low 70s. It wasn't heat.

That wasn't mental. A tennis player choking away a match can still catch a ball from a ball boy when she's serving and run around the court like it matters.
I'd be surprised if it was the heat too. Why would she be having issues with the heat before the match even started?
