Does any guy here think they could beat her? My friend who is average at the YMCA courts thinks he can beat her.

Just remind him he plays at the YMCA. There's nothing wrong with that, but my experience playing BREC softball doesn't mean I could play for the U.S. Olympic team.

The same ones that participated in that thread a couple of months back where a bunch claimed that they would go yard on a NCAA softball pitcher would no doubt make short work of her.

back in my LSU days, a group of 5 guys, including myself, all under 6'1, played the girls bball team-- with semoine, fowles, and temeka johnson at the rec. we lost 14-15, primarily b/c we had no size to combat fowles' height. but a group of random short guys playing against a team of girls full of future pro stars and bound for many wimmins final fours? i sure wasnt impressed.

semoine was good-- i'd liken her to a good dude you see at the gym, but hardly some high flying baller who'd humiliate you.

wat

I've played with Semoine in pickup games. She can hoop. I think she is better than your average high school male bball player. Of course if someone with size and skill plays against her they have that advantage, but not necessarily in basketball skills.

Diana Taurasi is better. In fact there are many other female players past and present better than Semoine.

Thought players weren't allowed to play their sport at the rec. I have heard of football players playing bball there before but not basketball players.

Seimone developed her skills by playing against men. With one hand tied to her side.
