I'm not talking mess. The guy acted like it was a guarantee bounce back game when you gotta travel to Portland for a b2b

This isn't even about the Pelicans.

This is the same Clipper squad who got run out of Staples by the Lakers. They're a great team when shots are falling and very mediocre when they're not.

Second round exit.

With Patrick Beverley and a Dwight that doesn't get three fouls in the 1st quarter, the Rockets can (and will) play much better against the Clippers.

Bingo. If this was a playoff series, nobody would be freaking out. Couldn't overcome a horrible start on the road without our CP3 stopper. Not a big deal.

One game during the regular season doesn't say anything. The success of this team will be totally dependent on blake and deandre on both sides of the court, but i really like their 3point shooters and second unit. (and certainly their coaching)

28% from 3 and 67% from the line didn't help either

With dwight and asik on the court, i think harden is playing a lot more midrange and 3 point game than he should be.

Harden definitely needs to drive more to the basket than he did today, especially when he can't get anything to go in.

But, honestly, I'm not worried about Harden at all. He'll probably bounce back in a big way tomorrow (unless this is all injury-related).

Lin's played really well to start the season. Wonder if moves back to the bench when Bev is healthy.

I think Harden was hurt tonight. Didn't play in the 4th even though we had cut the lead down to 10 with 7-8 minutes left to play.

McHale said in his post-game interview that he didn't think anything was wrong with Harden.

It's possible that Harden's poor effort tonight earned him a spot on the bench.

Rockets are way better than the pelicans there's no doubting that. The clippers are a really good team who've been in a groove ever since week one, losing to them isn't bad.

In fairness though, the loss to the magic by the pelicans wasn't that bad. They killed the nets and were very competitive with the wolves and pacers. They also hit everything they threw up even when contested until about halfway through the third quarter

Bump

Rocks looking to bounce back after a tough loss. 3rd road game in 4 days. Lamarcus sho would look nice next to Dwight.

We need him. I love the idea of Lin as the 6th man. Him along with Garcia, Caspi, and Asik anchoring the D makes for a stout second unit.

Good luck tonight Rocket fans.

We have played much better the last two games after an abysmal defensive performance opening night in Phoenix.

If we can continue shooting it well, we have a good chance I think despite our lack of a post presence. Need to keep you guys off the glass.

You will lose in Portland too. Still got a good team, but it isn't going to be as easy as Rocket fans think

For the most part, I think Rocket fans agree. We BS but no one thinks that we are the best team in the league. Over time though, you can't deny the potential to be a finals team is there.

okie, you watched Harden play consistently for a few years. Obviously he plays passing lanes well, but he got torched by Redick last night and the numbers say he is one of the worst individual defenders in the league.

Did you see him as a liability defensively when he played in OKC?
