Final stretch, boys. Thankfully the central is not doing to hot in points, so we (Stars) are within reach. My biggest concern is the inconsistency in effort. They could be one of the best teams in the league if they would put forth the same effort every night. We have some dead weight on the team that needs to be traded or dropped. Val being one of them, Methot being another. Hopefully the team can keep up the intensity.

Jackets went up to Winnipeg and lost a tough one.
Played really well, not an easy place to win.
But on the power play tied 3-3 late in the 3rd on a PP, defender lost his stick much earlier, obviously turns his back to block a shot and goes down in fake pain to draw a whistle. Refs stop play for player safety. Unreal for a team that had a defenseman take a shot under his eye and play continues last year in a playoff game.
Just unreal.
Lost 4-3.

Blue jackets look to be sellers at the deadline. Fun team to follow though, some good players in a tough division.

I think CBJ may be in on Brassard (a la Ian Cole dealt to Ottawa last year then to CBJ). He’s almost certainly getting flipped to some other team by Fla, given his UFA status and them being out of the playoff race.
