Just to illustrate how absurd it is that McVay is coaching in the Super Bowl as a head coach at 32

Definitely has that early 2000s jock haircut.

It seems like only one actually played in those games.
I'm sorry, holding a name tag does not really constitute being on a team.
I woudl imagine McVay only got the walk-on slot at a D1 program because he was the grandson of an nfl coach.

McVay caught 3 passes for 37 yards in the win
And 4 passes for 47 yards in the loss

McVay graduated from Marist School in Brookhaven, Georgia in 2004. He was a four-year starter at Marist as a quarterback and defensive back for the War Eagles high school football team. He was the first player in school history to amass 1,000 yards rushing and passing in consecutive seasons. He totaled 2,600 yards rushing and 40 rushing touchdowns during his career and also passed for 2,500 yards and 18 touchdowns, leading the War Eagles to a 26–3 record, including a 14–1 record and state championship his senior year, when he was also named the Georgia 4A Offensive Player of the Year.[1]
good enough, ya think?

McVay was an assistant coach with the Tampa Bay Bucs right after he graduated college.

No, Georgia 4A classification for that region was against all the inner city Atlanta public high schools. Sick talent but horrific coaching and undisciplined players.
I believe they beat Tucker that year that had Thomas Brown who went to UGA and later Statesboro who routinely put out D1 talent.

lol no. georgia doesnt separate private and public schools and at that time 5A was the largest classification. so 4A in georgia when he was at Marist was pretty damn legit talent.
