Seahawks WR Josh Gordon fricks up again

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports Josh Gordon failed the terms of his conditional reinstatement.
This is terrible news. Gordon was reinstated earlier this month and was set to rejoin the Seahawks for the stretch run. That won't happen now. Gordon has reportedly suffered a setback with substance abuse, and he can no longer practice or play in games indefinitely. If Gordon did in fact have a substance abuse setback and not something more minor within the terms of his conditional reinstatement, then his days in the NFL are likely done. Gordon last played in Week 15 of 2019.

Geez, man.... At a certain point, you start to feel sorry for this guy. He has all the talent in the world but he just can't kick the drug habit.

How clear does he have to make it that he’s not trying to quit?

Someone who can’t stay off the weed really shouldn’t live in one of these liberal cities with dispensaries

He just needs a fifteenth chance. He then will surely learn his lesson

I'm starting to forget how good this guy is.

Maybe the best talent ever to play WR
Sad he can’t beat his demons

It's deeper than weed though. He's been on all kinds of shite like xans, coke, lean, alcohol...
He needs to get help before he messes around and ods

I’m not sure what exactly you want me to link.

I am 99% sure the terms of his agreement prohibits alcohol in addition to the obvious (illegal drugs)
Posted on 12/22/20 at 9:07 pm to TTsTowel
Can they just permanently ban him and be done with it?

Weed isn't what Gordon can't stay away from.

Considering all the opportunities he's had, he must be an absolute freak in workouts for teams to take the chance over and over.

2015: Gordon was suspended the entire 2015 season due to another violation (alcohol) of the league's substance abuse policy.

I mean he’s a freak in general, it’s not like he doesn’t have tape to see how good he could be if he didn’t have those issues
Even in the second part here he had a really good season and a half with New England when he was on the field and showed flashes in Seattle
Also, despite his substance issues, he’s a really good dude otherwise. It’s not like he’s a scumbag or is beating women or some shite like that, he’s a model citizen and a good football player when he’s able to play and be sober. He just can’t do that for longer than weeks at a time
