Was only once and it took 7 games for his team to be defeated in that series to a great Boston Celtics team that possessed the league’s best record and Home court that series, meanwhile LeBrun melted down against a very beatable lower seeded Mavs team on a consistent basis every single game after game 2 or something to the point they didn’t even reach 7 games and D-Wade’s performance was the only reason they remotely remained in the games to whatever extent they all respectively were, was what it was MELTDOWN.

Kobe had to carry Shaqs lazy arse to a couple ships.

Is that why Shaq was finals MVP for all 3 titles?

As someone who worships Shaq as their favorite player ever, kindly go frick yourself

Shaq in th nba finals

2000

38 pts/game—16.7 rebs—61%—30.6 game score

2001

33 pts/game—15.8 rebs—57.3%—27.4 game score

2002

36.3 pts/game—12.3 rebs—59.5%—30.2 game score

You should literally be banned from this site from saying something so retarded. You should be publicly mocked and dragged out on the street

That 3 year run in the playoffs was the most dominant a player has ever been in the nba

ETA: The first two titles Kobe wasn’t even Robin. He was Antman

This is where the confusion occurs. You compare players vs their peers for best player. You compare all time for skill sets.

If that were the case then Wilt Chamberlain would be the hands down greatest of all time. The gap between him and his peers is the greatest of all time.

Jordan was greater against his peers than LeBron vs his peers, but LeBron is still a better player because his era is way more talented.

The gap between the best player in the league and the pack is only going to get smaller as the game advances.

The 200+ million dollar guaranteed contracts that pay 45+ million a year will only make the talent pool more competitive and deeper.

Currently you could make a case for 10 or so players currently being the best in the league. It's harder and harder to separate because the skill sets, size, and athleticism is the best we have ever seen.

LOL....way to damn easy to get the Shaq fanbois all riled up.

Magic choked once vs the C's and he admitted it...and made up for it and then some.

If you think Magic is not clutch...go check the 1980 Finals, specifically, Game 6. Yeah, Magic was a rookie.

F You for making me defend a fricken Laker Legend.

Well there’s obviously game 6 in 1980 and game 4 in 1987 for starters

What exactly does your post have to do with my response to a Shaq/Kobe post?

A) the fallacy that chunking up bad shots = not quitting is asinine

B) Kobe once took 3 shots in the 2nd half of a close out NBA game where is team lost by 31...

... after blowing a 3-1 lead in the series.

Kobe was an experienced quitter before LeBron ascended to the best player in the league.

This is easy for me:

Lebron - Best Athlete, freak of nature, wants to be liked, no killer instinct.

MJ - GOAT, Best basketball player, Cold blooded - will step
on your neck nightly.

Main difference is that Jordan would have stored that comment Pippin made and used it for the next 10 years to fuel him. Lebron would shrug his shoulders and talk about his next Undefeated article.

I was wondering the same. Pretty sure he thought LeBron was the GOAT a year or so ago.

He did a 180 after AD saying he wanted to be traded. And like clockwork with plenty others, his takes tend to go the irrational route.

This sums it all up perfectly, precisely the reason MJ's still considered the GOAT and what separates the two, LeBron doesn't have that same DNA, it's an on/off switch with him throughout his career sometimes he'll exemplify it sometimes he won't, is what it is

Kobe shot 41% that series. Antman is being kind.

Fool, my posts pre-AD trade demand were already demonstrating I was starting to shift away from my hardline LeBron stance when I was talking about killer instinct and what distinguished players and that stuff, the AD trade saga only exacerbated that, is what it is
