I think Beilein is a great coach and one of the best at making second half adjustments. If Michigan can keep the game close going into halftime, I think they have a shot.
It's hard to think Villanova will have that kind of shooting night again and Michigan is a MUCH better defensive team than Kansas. That said, Villanova has won in different ways in this tournament run. They were great on offense vs. two "lesser" defensive teams (West Virginia and Kansas) and great on defense vs. two of the better defensive teams in the country (Bama and TTU). They can outscore you AND shut you down.
Objectively there is no reason to think Michigan wins this game. But they are a great defensive team and just flat know how to win (14 straight games). If Villanova doesn't put them away early, Michigan is more than tough enough to win in the end.

michigan is gonna have to muck it up as much as possible. keep the score under 65 (maybe 60) to have any chance.
Michigans defense looked really good vs Loyola, but the speed of Villanova was incredible the second game.

Had Duke beating Michigan 69-58 in my bracket so I’ll go with Villanova being the winner but pulling for Michigan to win it
