Tickets going paperless was happening long before Covid.

.

I know paperless wasnt invented in 2020 but that pretty much forced every sporting event, concert, performance, etc to immediately go paperless.

The ticket stub market is growing faster than any other sports memorabilia market.

They’re a lot more rare than cards/autographs and are a direct link to a specific event.

I’ve got my stub from the Snoop Dogg/RHCP concert in New Orleans circa 2003.

Still smells like weed.

What can I get for that?

I still have the LSU home game ticket stub vs Florida in 2003.

Should be worth a ton.

Super Bowl tickets are worth a fortune.

I didn’t go to the Saints one, but I bought one for $100 a few months after (gold section XLIV) and now it’s appreciated significantly.

I’ve got about 25 from the late 70’s to 2018.

But be careful because there are a lot of fakes.

I didn’t go to any of the 4 LSU National Championship games, but I’ve got tickets to all 4.

I don’t even buy cards any more- just tickets. They mean a lot more.

How do you tell the fake tickets apart from the real tickets? Did you have PSA authenticate yours?

The ones I’ve bought recently are already authenticated.

I had the Saints XLIV one authenticated myself.

I still have some tickets left. But none are worth anything. I wish we could still get the old paper tickets instead of mobile tickets.

This is awesome, love this for collectors.

I went to a recent basketball game of 2 NCAA teams and went to the ticket window to purchase tickets at the time I arrived. Initially the ticket sales guy said, “what’s a phone number I can send the tickets to?”. I responded can we just get some tickets printed?

Lo and behold, he said yeah I guess I can and 2 seconds later, legit printed tickets with the logo of the teams and everything in hand. So they can do it, people are just refusing to put forth the effort to get them.
