Ginger for sure needs to be fired ASAP. I would let Joe Pa finish out the year if he was told by higher officials that nothing was found. Then clean house for sure

I'm sorry I don't consider this topic a game or try to find a way to make it fun like you do.

Sorry, would you prefer me to angrily type some paragraph about how I hope each one of them dies a slow and painful death?
I don't have to be serious about everything, deal with it. Oh look, Bama just missed another field goal LAWLZ

No, I'd just prefer you to be quiet.

Yeah who doesn't enjoy a good joke about sexually abusing kids every once in a while.

If you think that's not a serious matter, you're even dumber than you sound in this thread.

Wow..just wow.
There are some thing to not be serious about. This isn't a WYHI thread.
The events that have come to light are factual. We do know what happened and we know what Joe Pa's role was. We may not know everything yet, but it's laughable to think that there was anything said/done to justify how little Paterno did in regards to this situation.
Joe Pa knew very clearly what happened. Paterno came to be known as a courageous role model with upstanding virtues. He is known as much more than a coach. He was known for shaping the lives of hundreds of young men. Ironically, his actions could have also prevented a predator from sodomizing innocent children. But instead, his actions allowed such instances to occur.
That is sickening.
Read this link and then try and form an argument as to why Paterno shouldn't be immediately removed as head coach of PSU.

Joe says well I seriously doubt that but I will tell AD.
So, just to clarify, if you were told by someone that a child was being raped in the broom closet at your work, you wouldn't call the cops?

This is precisely how I see it as well.
quote:
He referred the matter to university administrators. This was not notifying his bosses. Bosses are more experienced than you. Bosses make more money than you. Bosses hold the power of employment or unemployment over you. Joe Paterno does not have bosses. He is not an authority figure in the Penn State athletics department. He is the authority figure.
Legally, Paterno notified someone as required. Morally, Paterno abdicated responsibility entirely. It’s unclear what specifically he thought “something inappropriate involving Mr. Sandusky” meant. It’s unclear why, when told “something inappropriate” happened in a shower, between an adult man and an underage child in front of a distraught witness, he made no effort to alert proper authorities and made no effort to follow up on the incident and that authorities were alerted. There’s no evidence he even confronted Sandusky about it. He washed his hands and walked away.

Joe the molester should be hung. He knew. And was probly part of the acts. shite like that doesn't go unseen.

Just the fact that this went on for a couple of decades in a town as small as State College should at least cause people to consider the possibility that there were others involved in the actual molestation. I'm not saying there were, I'm just saying that it is unlikely that many many people didn't have a pretty good idea of what was going on and word may have gotten around in certain circles that such conduct was tolerated and protected in the Second Mile charity.

HOly Shite. There is enough press on this story that there is no way the guilty are getting out unscathed.

One more thing, if Joe Paterno testified to the Grand Jury that he was never told specifically by McQueary that Sandusky was peforming anal sex on the boy in the shower and McQueary testifed to the grand jury that he had in fact told everyone EXACTLY what he saw and that included anal sex, then one of them is lying and HAS committed perjury.
My money is on McQueary telling the truth. Paterno may actually have some criminal liability by the time this thing is all said and done.
