From what I read and researched most of the 20 or so kids were in their teens when the crimes happened .... I do not know the legal definition but when I think pedophile, I think 3 and 4 year olds ...

Victims range in age, but an adult who has sexual relations with children. Remember McCreary saw him with a ten year old. That is a text book pedophile.

I was under the impression that the majority (if not all) of the alleged victims were post pubescent (12 and above) ... and remember the age of the kid in the shower is not known.

I don't remember one he started with being over 11. They might have been 14 by time it ended. But none of them were older than 14/15 at anytime.
