That girl would make your mom cry with happiness and cook a mean arse plate of rice and gravy for when you got off of work at the plant.

Props to him, but this just drives home how absurd it is that so many of these dudes end up broke. Debt free college degree and a minimum salary of 600K for one year in the league. plus I can't imagine that 90% of NFL players can't bring in five figures from appearances and endorsements between their home towns, college towns and whatever city they end up in.

Reminds me of baseball legend Rickey Henderson. He was famously frugal and was said to never spend food per diem on the road. He would hoard really good food that they got after a game and used all that money to reward his kids for good grades. Always thought that was a cool story. AK seems like he has his shite together.

What companies does Kamara have endorsements with?

I honestly don't know and can't think of any ads I e seen him in off the top of my head. Except for maybe a milk commercial...or am I thinking of someone else?

He’s a local trash man. Good benefits. Solid union

easy to do when you get a shite ton of endorsement money

Yeah it's a small minority of players that are able to do this.

Former WR Jordy Nelson did the same thing.

He’d pocket the per diem on road trips & just stay in the hotel & eat the team provided “snack” they’d also give him.

His frugality should surprise no one - 4th generation farmer, parents are successful small business owners, outspoken Christian.

Worked the farm every offseason and said he identified more as a farmer than a football player.
