Pretty straightforward comments from Pat McAfee Show …

And his propensity to smash the back of his skull into the ground for no reason doesn’t have a ton to do with not giving up on plays.

Don't disagree but I think I understand the point Saban is trying to make and think it's valid.
Live to play another day.

I guess he could be like Cam Newton and get ridiculed for the rest of his life.

Surely there's a happy medium between that and simply having no concern for your physical wellbeing ...

It's a violent game. Those that aren't violent are not respected. I don't think you can blame Tua for how he plays.

I don't want to ever see it not be a violent game. But I don't view these people as gladiators risking their asses for our enjoyment like we were in the Roman Colosseum.
I just think there are times when it's in somebody's best interest to go to the house. I think this may be one of those times. And I agree with Saban that it should be Tua and his family and the medical pros' decision. Not the NFL's, not the Dolphins and certainly not the fans'. And if he chooses to keep playing, so be it.

Huh?
Tua slides on that play and he’s still playing
He’s a moron

As an old Saint fan how many times did we watch Joe Montana run for 9 yards? Then slide untouched. He was respected. 4th and 4 losing in a playoff game? Sure get all you can. Game 2 of a season in a lost game? Be smarter.

What the hell does this even mean at the QB position???... it's a compliment you give o-lineman & d-lineman... dude just not comprehending the concept of protecting himself by sliding to reduce risk of injuries...
