It's part of the job, it's not why they get paid millions.

I mean the rugby tackle makes it a better tackle to get someone to the ground. Your head in their chest makes it harder to get your arms around their body. Why can't players understand this?

You’re an idiot. Hey bud, even if you think you’re “right”...this isn’t the time to be trying to prove your point on why a possible parilization is “part of the job”.

I don’t have a good feeling about it at all.

The fact there have been no positive updates in 3 hours is scary.

Someone also tweeted this, but it doesn't look like that is what is being said to me, but I am no lip reader.

I can't verify who this dude is... whether he's media or just a hopeful lip-reader... I hope he's right though.

I think I made out the 2nd half of Colbert's convo with Tomlin to be "but he has been able to move his legs a little" @RyanShazier @steelers

Watching the replay I thought it was a spinal cord compression. Just based on how he reached for his lower back immediately and had numbness in his legs. It’s probably the best case scenario considering what happened, but would require immediate surgery. It does worry me that we haven’t heard an update and it’s been over 2 hours.

when they showed a freeze frame of the hit Shazier laid on Gio Bernard awhile back, he had his head lowered then too.
