I have three cousins who went to Catholic High and still haven’t grown up. Meanwhile, this “public school reject” is making a 6 figure salary at age 30. Thinking private school automatically equals success over public school is beyond dumb.

Recruits just as bad, if not worse, than any school out there. Go look up barkevious Mingo.

My point is made

If you provide a quality education, good environment, and opportunity for a kid to better his life, parents will find a way to get their kids there

Catholic schools always recruit players. Happens in every state

Not mine.. I don’t doubt that many perhaps even most do.

You’ve got private and public schools in your state who recruit. It doesn’t matter the state, someone is recruiting. And it happens in every high school sport.

If you're an adult roasting people over what high school they went to, that's pretty sad.

There is no way I am willing to accept we have seasoned posters like yourself that can read that post and not see the sarcasm.

Sugarcoat it anyway you want to, there was zero sense of sarcasm in your post

Let’s not forget that you like to look down on everyone with your inflated sense of self worth because you went to a private school and played fricking tennis

Orrr, and hear me out, people with screwed up priorities will bend rules and flat out break them to make sure a mom, with a stud football player for a son from the Florida panhandle, will get a highly coveted city job just in time for her son to enroll in HS.

Private schools literally couldn't survive without "recruiting" since they do not have the compulsory student base public schools have by their nature.

Yeah, that's not true.

Here’s an appropriate set of responses based on yours:

Your mom.

Nany nany boo boo

I know you are but what am I

Oh, and daddy didn’t have to buy my education for me, so...there’s that

I had quite the opposite experience. The kids that were there on football or basketball "scholarships" weren't really troublemakers at all. They were very much outsiders with respect to the makeup of the general student body and thus, were relatively quiet and kept to their own small groups

What about D. Guice? I hear he wasn't such an exemplary student and his ability to get away with anything in high school carried over to his adult life.

So you think I am so dead serious about my post, and yet I am moving specifically to enroll my kids in public school? Thats a bold take cotton

But it somewhat does fuel me that I am in your head that much

ETA: My self worth has nothing to do with private school or tennis, its my ruggedly good looks and huge cock. And my money

Apparantly he was an a-hole. Not sure what that proves or disproves

Yes some kids on scholarship are extremely grateful and work their asses off. Some are entitled. Some are somewhere in between

Meh, it kinda is. Would be tough if they never had open houses, never sent brochure, never had advertisements, etc etc. Especially when starting out

Sure that absolutely happens. And people with screwed up priorities will try to block all kids with parents just trying to provide a better life because of a few bad apples that create sports inequities

Good on you man. I always tell people picking a trade like plumbing is underrated, there is money to be made

Kidding, since this board seems to be a bit fiery today
