MLB wants a team in Mexico

I think Carolinas is the best move economically

Montreal would be the RIGHT choice

Yeah, Montreal had their chance. Try someplace MLB hasn't already failed.

Out in the area right now. The friends who live out here (Raider Season Ticket Holder) said the A's owner has a bunch of cash and is about to announce with the Oakland officials of a new ball park in the city this summer. They are saying Oakland is becoming the new Brooklyn...San Francisco has priced itself out and people are flocking to Oakland to invest and live. They are currently looking at 3 locations, but the downtown location is where they are going to build it.

Are the Raiders fans you know still going to support them?

He told me he will go one more year with the season tickets...then that is it. He said they should just go ahead and move. Like he said, there is a waiting list for the tickets here in the Oakland area...but Davis wanted the new stadium and the corporate boxes. He does not plan traveling to Vegas to see them play. Claims the tailgating scene at the Colosseum is awesome and thinks that will be lost at the new stadium in Vegas. Mentioned his friend has 9ers tickets...pays $30,000 for the seat license on top of the ticket price. His Raider tickets in the Colosseum is $75/game at a 50 yard seat.

There is no fans more passionate than Raiders fans. I loved seeing all their rowdy fans wearing spiked costumes and silver and black face paint. They had one of the best home field advantages in the league. I don't see that same atmosphere in Las Vegas. I feel bad for all those Oakland fans. This is the 3rd city the Raiders will have been in since 1995. That is crazy. I'm seeing more and more greed in the NFL than ever before, and it's a big turn off. Don't blame Raiders fans at all dumping them. $30000 on PSL license is a tough pill to swallow.
