Your class must be a bunch of douches then. I graduated from Christian Brothers as well, and there was never anything but respect among the people in our grade. There was more animosity about being put in the "smart class" versus the "dumb class" than there was about any one going to Rummel/BM/DeLa/Jesuit/HC. I still see those people all the time, everyone has always been cool. Oh, and no one gives a frick about high school after college. At all.

I would say they all tend to balance each other out pretty well. Every school has douches and stereotypes. The funny thing is, at least as far as Jesuit goes, I find that the people who you're probably referring to, are the ones who are least likely to be in a position to act like they're any better than anyone. Eg, its usually the kids that are dumb and/or haven't done shite with their lives.
I graduated from Jesuit in 03 fwiw, and through LSU, some of my best friends are kids from Rummel and BM now. The only time anyone ever mentions high school is probably for a football game, if that.

Meh. I think that's really more of a general attitude that kids your age have, regardless of where they go to school.
These kids today...

For all of the Jesuit people out there, this is germans as hell, but Fr. McGinn will no longer be Jesuit's President come May 2010. I heard a bunch of different reasons as to why he won't be there (everything from he left on his own to he wasn't raising enough $$$, etc, etc). Would somebody in the know please enlighten us? It's a shame. I can't imagine Jesuit w/o Fr. McGinn running the show.
It's not common for Jesuit's to stay in one place for so long and he's been here much longer than many of the other presidents. He's not leaving for any negative reasons, just simply moving on. But, FWIW he earned a TON of money for the school. He will be missed.
