Rule changes for cfb released. 2 pt conversions start in 2nd OT, rotating 2pc start 3rd OT

Lame. The reason the games take forever isn’t because of the 2 point requirement going on too long, it’s because it’s a joke to start every OT drive at the 25 yard line in P5 CFB

I've kinda gotten used to the NFL format
Make the team earn it
First team possession score a TD it's over
If not, first score becomes winner
If time runs out, end it in a tie and don't use some cheap gimmick to end a game. It devalues the entire game. A 2 pt conversion for the win, really!
Of course in playoffs and title game it would be true sudden death

This. The CFB OT is ridiculous. Just do what the NFL does. It's not terribly complicated.

the point is to resolve the tie.
they eliminate 42 yard fg.
they reduce number of plays.

A tie is more legit than 2pt conversions deciding a game. It's like the shootout in hockey

What about the targeting rule? Dumbest penalty in sports. At least change it to a personal foul/15 yds on the first occurrence, then ejection if it happens again.

College and Pro should have the same rule:
First drive for each team starts at the 20 and each team gets a possession.
After the first OT, move it to the 30. After the second, back to the 40 and so on and such. Eventually someone won’t convert or will commit a turnover and that will be that.
