what an idiot.

Ray Rice could literally kill her in under 30 seconds if he wanted to.

The best woman at anything is at best, a below average male at the same thing.

Ray Rice isn't an MMA fighter, so this analogy doesn't really hold.

That's a good point. Janay ran right into that left hook.

She would definitely have a shot in the octogon with space to work with to try and get him down and arm bar to break an arm. Might not be able to, but in would be interesting.

Elevator, no chance. Tight confined space like that, she is done. Too much strength to contend with and punching power from Rice.

I'd be impressed if anyone on this board could do 26 consecutive, legit pull-ups. I'm talking about going all the way down and then chin above the bar

It depends on what you mean by "all the way down". If we're talking dead hang, lots of people can't do dead hang because it messes up their shoulders. I can do dead hangs no problem. Chin above the bar? How else would you do them?

Agreed, and it's not like Ray is some lanky guy. Dude is a miniature tank. It's like trying to wrestle a human pit bull.

His legs are insane.

Most I ever did, legit dead hang was 21. Ive seen dudes in my military training break 30. Women forget about it.

That pretty much sums it up. Mary Joe Carillo once said that Serena Williams may be the greatest woman player of all times, but there are thousands of college players and hundreds of high school players that could have beaten her at her very peak.

Even Serena acknowledges this & scoffs at the idea of playing men .

These are some of the same guys who believe Britney Griner could possibly play in the NBA

Yates High boys basketball (Houston) & most decent High School boys teams would crush the WNBA champion.

Stop it.

Even tennis? I would think tennis would be the one sport where it would be an even playing field.

If she wasnt expecting to be hit then the result would have been the same. Hell if he would have hit another football player that wasnt expecting to be hit then the result would be the same.

The analogy is that women aren't anywhere near as good as men at physical things.

For those of you that have trouble comprehending b/c your 5'8" 155, it would be like you getting into a fight with a 5'5" 110lb 12 year old that is a black belt or has been training in jui jitsu or something and is really great at it. Are you going to say you couldn't kick a 12 year olds arse, even though you've never trained before?

That's what it would be like for Ray Rice, an elite athlete with ridiculous strength, kicking this girls arse.

I had to ask, didn't I?

FWIW, the most dead hangs I've ever done was 23.

I've done 22 pullups with a 20 pound vest.

My best time for 30 pushups/30 pullups is 1 minute, 5 seconds.

ETA: I don't weigh as much as most guys, though.

I hope people are trolling. Ray rice would destroy the poor girl. Any average NFL athlete would do the same. And he's above the average in strength and athleticism

This is where I would be inclined to agree that she would mess him up. Technique and knowledge of takedowns can level any playing field.

Serving speed would be a MAJOR factor in all of this. I believe the serve speed is roughly 20+ mph difference if not more between males and females

Gotcha. I enjoy watching tennis, a lot. I just don't know much about it. All I know is I suck at it.
