Yeah, he was trying to say some 155 pound males could beat up Ray Rice so why shouldn't Ronda be able to.

And I was explaining that the difference between fighters when it comes to males and females is huge.

It's the same concept with the WNBA.
However, we're not talking about men and women at different levels of the same sport. We're talking about a professional fighter against a non-professional.

Could Rice knock her the frick out? Yes. Could Rousey catch Rice in a submission? Yes.

This is why I don't think it would happen.

Rousey takes opponents down with a hip toss nearly every time. That's her go-to takedown.

And sometimes it takes her some time to pull it off.

She would have a hell of a time doing that in an elevator to somebody as big and strong as Ray Rice, even if she is a fighter.

And as far as her "boxing" is concerned, it's terrible. A lot of her fights look literally like an untrained cat fight until she can pull off her hip toss takedown. So it's not like she'd have some advantage here.

But the UFC has rules in place to protect the fighter (no kicking in the head, not hitting on the back of the head, etc). It is not a street fight. She would be over powered and knocked the frick out before she could even try a Kimura.

I saw the 5A finals at the Top 28, and I have a VERY hard time believing that a WNBA team would beat either finalist.

Funny seeing all the people get so defensive about her possibly beating up Ray Rice.

Maybe, maybe not. We'll never know.

This isn't the first time she's bragged saying how she would beat up men. So this is basically an extension of other discussions.

Great point. Muhammad Ali, who grew up middle class and never got in a street fight in his life, could have beaten Mike Tyson in a boxing ring in his prime, but in a street fight, Ali would have probably stood no chance against Tyson.

Is Ray going to make it easy for her like in her videos where they guys don't do anything and let her flip them over her hip?

she'd try to do some arm bar from the ground, b/c she will never be on top of him, and he will pick her up and slam her on the ground.

These are some of the same guys who believe Britney Griner could possibly play in the NBA

Yates High boys basketball (Houston) & most decent High School boys teams would crush the WNBA champion.

Chris Evert said that she could never beat her brother even when she was the #1 player in the world, and he never even made it to the pros.

Not to stereotype, but 95% of black guys literally have no idea how to fight. I think she could take him.

WOW. I had no idea. It's baffling to me. I always thought tennis was the one arena where women could compete with men. Crazy.
