Under no circumstances should the Braves have done nothing about what happened tonight.

While I agree with this, I will also bet every dollar I have that a Marlins player gets smoked in one of the remaining four games they have.

The Braves final series with the Marlins starts a week from today and the same chicken-shite "oh, we can't do anything to protect our player right now!" reasons will apply just as much next week as they did last night.

So frankly, I still don't comprehend all these supposed benefits of DELAYING justified retaliation. Unless, of course, the intent is to go full chicken-shite and *not* retaliate... which wouldn't surprise me at all.

But Snit sure was bowing his chest and pointing his finger!

Of all the people to shite on for not defending Acuna, Snitker makes the least sense

Exactly.

Why should a Marlins player have to worry about being hit by a 95+ mph fastball to the elbow or hand or ribs or neck? He didn't do shite.

The Braves should have handled it right then and there and then should hit that pitcher next time he starts against them.

Why? Because "that's how the games played"? Snitker was possessed and Ender ran out like a mad man.

I don't care how the game is played.

What do you even mean by that?

Baseball has he memory of an elephant and they won’t forget who spurned who last night which is why I don’t believe immediate retaliation was necessary, especially in a tight pennant race where once game can swing whether or not you make the playoffs.

We all know retaliation will come and when it does, it’ll be sweet. Whether that’s next week, spring training, or next year. It’ll happen so why he impatient?

This is probably somewhat new territory for the Braves current roster, including Snit. The majority are really young and the Braves have sucked for half a decade. It's been a long time since a team has maliciously targeted one of their players like they did last night. I would've loved to have seen a bigger guy like Tyler Flowers punch his fist through Urena and Mattingly's thug faces, but it didn't happen, Snit had to lead the way. I'd imagine going forward they'll be more aware and protective regarding this sort of thing since they're now playoff contenders. Also, I don't think this is over. I think Urena and the Marlins will get it somehow. Perhaps we go down to Miami and settle things.

I doubt he ordered or approved of it.

Sounded like he did since he was basically defending the move.

I was disappointed in the Braves reaction/ lack of reaction.

The only way to make up for it would be next time around insert call up in and head hunt the pitcher

He told Urena that Acuna had been beating them up and to throw inside to make it stop. How he sent that message or how Urena took it is something none of us know. But the result was ugly.

I didn't see the whole press conference, but the clip I saw had him saying that isn't the way to do things.

Also not the first time someone on his team has pulled this bullshite.

So either he is a retard with no control or he is fine with it

Not necessarily. Heres the thing everyone is missing. The Braves didnt retaliate because they want to hit Urena. Which means next time he faces the Braves you can bet they will hit him. Now if this was an American league game then the Braves would of hit a player from the Marlins the next time up to bat.

They want to hit Urena which is why they didnt retaliate
