if he doesn't want to start on the road there is only one way to guarantee it........don't choke in the super bowl

Ravens (2013) opened up on the road after winning the SB.

This had more to do with a stadium conflict with the Orioles, though.

The NFL wanted ratings, so they put the SB rematch as the first game of the season. Wow, how hard is that for Riverboat Ron to understand? Facing 0-2 is a bitch, so do something about it!

Someone has to play on the road. Everyone can't have home games. This shite makes so little sense to be an actually vocalized complaint.

You get the only Thursday game without a short week (with the benefit of an extended week 2) and then get the divisional Thursday game at home again.

fricking Carolina

Exactly and they give you San Francisco the next week at noon at your place after they played on Monday Night with kickoff at 10:20 Eastern time.

Yeah, you're right... I have no balls because of the way I feel about the way the NFL scheduled a game. You're so cool.

If he had won he'd playing the "now that we're healthy with Kelvin we're the best team in the league we proved that we're the best team in the game." Instead he lost and has a case of the butt hurt

Rivera is acting like a little bitch, but he does have a point.

This was the first time we have had a SuperBowl rematch in week 1. The game should have been Pats v Denver, but Goodell fricked that up. Can't have Jimmy G vs Trevor S. as your NFL kickoff game.

Nothing to do with the way the NFL rotating schedule works

A couple "IFs" here but what IF Carolina won the Superbowl last year and what IF, when the NFL made a slight tweak to the AFC West and NFC West scheduling in 2008, they swapped it to where Denver was playing at Carolina this year.

Would Rivera feel it was unfair for Denver that they would have to play at Carolina week 1?
