The Cowboys will have a tough decision to make. If they do play him, i think it will be to showcase him for the league for trade bait.

Dak and Elliott are the future and they know that

Tony has been injury prone, but his last full season in 14 he was excellent.

He gets a bad rap because A. Hes highly paid, and B. Hes the QB of the most hated team in NFL.

My company has done a lot of work with him over the years and he's actually a really good down to earth guy. He was an undrafted guy so he's always been pretty humble.

i know this isnt the way he wanted to go out, but i think in the end he will be glad he didnt do anymore harm to his body.

As opposed to him not being a starter all these years?

Yeah...during his ups and downs, his wild young days.

it was always romo...as if Jerry had to be like Al Davis and prove everyone was dumb and he was going to show the world an undrafted QB was the best in the game.

It was like he was tony's agent instead of employer. Just never objective always promoting Romo over other choices throughout the years and QBs they could have drafted.

This. Easily the most misguided hatred for a QB in the NFL. He used to get his brains beat out and was running for his life... Now they have had a top notch line and running game, and he's fragile as hell due to the beatings he was taking the previous however many years prior to '14.

dude you're nuts

You act like Romo was dogshit. Im not saying he's Montana, but he had some great years.

Who was the alternative? He's also had shitty defenses the past 3-4 years

Like i said, just two years ago he led the NFL in QB rating:

70% Completion Rate
3,700 yards
34 TDs
9 INTs

No, he hasn't

D. He is made of peanut brittle

He was turned into peanut brittle by his lack of an offensive line for the better part of a decade.

The misnomers about Romo are hilarious The last time he played he was one of the top 5 QBs in the league. He carried the Cowboys when their line was shite and now his body is broken because of it. He is better than Dak.

Dak has Zero Chance to Replace Romo

This link to Larry Brown sports tells it like it is.

Me, never been a Romo fan, and it would be just like Jerry Jones to mess up a good thing, but that's how Cowboys ride.

Cowboys play 3 of their next 4 on the road. Very likely they go 2-2 in their next 4. I'd say more likely they go 1-3 than 3-1.

It will just depend how they do the next few games with Dak.

Maybe if he was better in the first 3 qtrs they wouldn't need heroics.

But, there is a reason why Dallas has lost in Dec and Jan big games and Romo is a big reason why. Their lack of playoff success is the main stat.

So it isn't on the stupid rule that everyone knew Dez caught the ball but was called incomplete or how they have had some awful defenses when he was in the playoffs? He dropped the PAT one time and everyone runs with the narrative he just is completely awful in big games and the playoffs. I am not even a cowboys fan I dislike them but peak Romo is really good. If he can still play like that he is better than Dak.
