That city will tar and feather Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett if they put Romo back in as starter and he starts Romo-ing.

Prescott is clearly already better than Romo.

Cowboys are going to be amazing when they have that albatross of a contract gone

Funny thing is cowboys fans think they'd be undefeated if Romo wasn't hurt

Of course he said that; it was only week 4. If the Cowboys are still rolling through week 8, though--and it doesn't look like they won't be...Dak looks fricking unreal--theres no way he fricks up the chemistry by forcing in the incumbent. There's nothing JJ wants more than to win. He's not gonna risk that for loyalty.

If I were Stephen Jones, I'd be on the phone with Elway about interest in Romo.

That is about the most gross mischaracterization of Jerry Jones as I've ever seen. If there is one thing that Jerry Jones loves more than winning is to be right. Loyalty might be a thing for him, but he's about as loyal to Tony Romo as it's going to get. If you think for one second he'd rather win before being right, you are kidding yourself.

Now with that being said, if he knows what's good for himself and the team, and it Dak and the boys are still rolling, he should let Garrett decide what's best. But if they put Romo in, and the offense starts shitting the bed, and the team loses a game or two because Romo starts his annual interception parties, the fans are going burn that place down, and lynch Romo.

It's always seemed like Romo has some weird relationship with Jones.

True Brady and Kraft got some I've got your back bromance thing - but Romo isn't Tom Brady.

Never understood why Jones year after year after year...defended Tony on everything and acted like he was Manning (even when Romo was young and totally immature.)

Jerry was the one guy who just couldn't be objective about Romo's performances.

It's always been "I've talked to the coaches and Tony is our starer."
