The committee would put them no higher than #12. Right now they have a 7-4 Tennessee at #21 above Tulane at #23.

If Ole Miss has knocked off Bama and Georgia, maybe. No way if only the Tulane game was flipped.

I doubt the committee members even watch G5 games. They probably rarely watch G5 teams even when they play P5s. I would not be surprised if there wasn't a single one who watched Oklahoma State get demolished by South Alabama. It's possible the regulars in the weekly CFB various games thread watch more ball than some of them do.

You’d be correct.

Tulane has to stay humble and hungry if they want to sustain this success.

With LA Tech keeping Coach Cumbie and ULL keeping Coach Desormeaux, the Green Wave cannot afford to get complacent in Louisiana.

Fritz is gonna get a power 5 offer this off-season, right?

Definitely. They knocked on Chris Petersen’s (Boise State) door every year after 2006-2007 Fiesta Bowl.

Eh, Fritz is turning 64 in April. That’s really old to be taking over a P5 job at this point

Georgia Tech came knocking last year and he didn’t go. Part of me thinks Willie is 63 year old Willie is done chasing jobs. However, he seemed to be pulling for Kortne Gosha to be next AD. Tulane went with David Harris instead. Wonder how Willie feels about that?

This is a bit overblown. Most coaches, including Fritz, would prefer the internal guy.

His mistake was publicly voicing his opinion and the media of course did their thing for clicks.

If Fritz decides to leave it will be for the opportunity to have generational wealth and I really wouldn’t blame him
