I can’t recommend going to this event more. Other then going to the Super Bowl, this was the coolest, most unique sporting event I’ve ever attended (2018 & 2019)

The prototype class is stacked this year. Legit 5 cars with a shot at the overall win

Looking forward to it, didn’t realize there were other sportscar fans on here. Will be interesting to see how the LMP3s do vs GTLM.

Also going to be interesting to see what happens in 2021 with the new GTD-Pro and GTD classes instead of GTLM.

Other than F1 this race and Le Mans are my favorite racing events.

GTLM car crashes before even crossing the start/finish to take the green.

Not sure what the BMW was thinking there.

My #96 team had a great start, sat 2nd for the first 30m, but has fallen down to 7th.

I'm hoping Ben Keating can win in one of his cars he is entered in pretty cool to race two different cars. The #52 LMP2 he is in looks like his best shot.

From Turner (#96) after fuel mishap-

quote:

UPDATE: Bill is going to take a shower.

This has nothing to do with taking a face full of fuel. He puts that stuff on his Lucky Charms.

He’s just OCD and likes to start his stints minty fresh.

James the fueler asked to shower with him, Bill declined.

Racing is a simple sport, the cars go around the track for 24 hours and then at the end, Scott Dixon always wins

I’ve been watching it off and today. It’s a race I’d like to go watch.

The corvettes are by far the loudest/best sounding in their class. My god

Yes GM is crushing it. Cadillac and corvettes leading their classes. That flat plane v8 is a true race engine. GM has never made a motor like this before.

Due to covid its so relaxed here. I was right up against fence across from the pits. Literally 10 feet from the cars while they’re flying down past the grand stands. Nothing like Daytona

I have read about engines for most of my life and did not know the difference between a flat plane crank and cross plane crank. I've learned something new. Very interesting.

Big spin for Kobayashi and the 48. He tried a big move into the first turn for the lead and it didn't work.
