Toronto franchise would be cool. Screw Europe. Nobody waking up for an 8:00 AM game except degenerate gamblers.

Almost anyone with young kids is up by 8 am on Sunday as are many others. Honestly most of the people I know say that’s how their kids first got into football with the early morning games because they were up and playing and the dads were watching it.

You think some undrafted guy is gonna root up his young family and move to London? Its retarded. Nobody will want to go there

If you’re undrafted and young and they call you you go… it’s veterans whom a European team will struggle to sign

Europe is being taken over by a demographic who is not into American Football so available fanbase is shrinking. This would be the dumbest move ever. New Cole type stupid

Aren't European taxes much higher than US taxes?

When will we have a team pay for its own stadium?

Imagine a day where:

The international team is Good.

They host a Divisional Round playoff game.

The winner of that game has to fly across the fricking Atlantic Ocean to turn around and play in a Conference Championship game.

Yep. I don't think a lot of thought has gone into potential problems if that scenario arises. Jet lag is real and a turnaround flight after a game on the other side of the big pond puts any U.S. based team at a great disadvantage.

Like mentioned in another post--------something right across our border since Canada already has football teams playing in their league.

if it’s that or not be in the NFL…

Another poster talked about the playoffs… it would be a pretty big advantage for all NFC teams if the London team was in the AFC… they need two teams, one in each conference, there to mitigate that. With the 17 game schedule, you can rig the extra interconference game so that the two London/European teams always play (think the Saints playing the Raiders when all their other AFC opponents are the AFC North).

Goodell said London could support not just one but two teams not that long ago. Mexico is the choice over Canada it sounds like too. He also said a full EU division is long term goal.

This shite is fricking gay

So sick of it. Every single change the nfl has made in the pursuit of kore money has made the game worse for the players and the fans. I fricking hate the way they run their league

Could any market in Canada besides Toronto reasonably support a team?

Or it you're gonna expand you could go somewhere like say............St Louis.

I'm sure free agents will be lined up out the door to play in London. The tax/currency conversion rate ramifications are small potatoes, I'm sure.
