Their whining about the 2018 WCF was perfectly justified. They had to deal with suspect officiating AND an unfairly-built team.

Considering the west playoff seeding will, most likely, be determined by 1-2 games, it would be irresponsible to not protest the outcome. "Just let it go" is a dumbass approach for any professional sports team if an alternative solution might be available.

The mavs still to this day say the ref cost them the title to the heat. They get the whiny crown. ain’t too many CC fans saying the refs cost CC the title the other year.

They clearly just messed up the 30 second coaches challenge rule with some timing heated communication pickyness (or whatever their after the fact excuses were).

I am a take my L kinda guy I would never ever protest but there’s a chance they replay this. A made basket is not a judgment call like a foul is. Will be interesting to see how Adam deals with this.

Yes, it is.

The ref determined the ball did not go in the hoop, he applied the rules correctly based on his judgment. He did not misinterpret the handling of a rule.

A foul is subjective, a made basket is not. Either that ball goes through the hoop or it does not.

It is, actually. Both whether it is made, and whether it's worth 1, 2, or 3 points.

What rule did the ref apply incorrectly.

The ref ruled the ball did not go through the hoop, based on his incorrect judgment of that, he correctly applied the rule to not give HOU 2 points.

Pitiful. Daryl is a great GM, maybe the best. But I can never support a protest. Back when I was a lad playing little league baseball there was an opposing teams coach who it seems every time they lost he would file a protest saying that the umpire cheated. I felt bad for my friends on that team. Protesting was embarrasing back then and it still is to this day.

Blew a 22 point SECOND half lead.

Blew an EIGHT point lead with a minute to go while a 20 year old kid with even crazier hair on his head than Harden himself dragged his barely-dropped nuts all over houston with a personal 8-0 run

Except you continue to support and defend the team that is not only filing said protest, but put together a whole audit whining about the refs and has whined over and over to the media about the refs

I can support the rockets and not support it when they protest or ref blame.

Just like you can support you Aggie boyfriend but not like it when he hogs the sheets.
