I didn’t get back into wrestling until my little boy started liking it. We enjoy the large live shows. Been to the Rumble in Houston. So I still keep up with the storylines etc etc

I’ll tell you that I haven’t been this invested in something in WWE in YEARS. Im knee deep.

With that said….

This is absolutely a work.

I’m just not buying that Cody wins the Rumble to just step aside and give up his spot. Hell, my 11 year old even said that and there are adults across the IWC that can’t seem to grasp that

The WWE’s MO since HHH has taken over is to tell long stories and for Cody just to seem to hand over this opportunity just doesn’t make sense to me. And it doesn’t fit with what the WWE has been doing for the last 3 years.

Now, at the bottom of The Rocks recent Instagram post you see he says “long game.” Which, IMO, confirms that there’s more to this than what happened at Smackdown and Rock just stepping in. His personal creative writer also posted that “none of you have a clue what’s going on.”

This “finish the story” has been too big in the WWE to just cut it off at the legs like this. Add that on top of The Rock saying the only way he faces Roman is doing something special or something that’s never been done before. I don’t believe that it’s just this simple. We all know that HHH and creative don’t like it when the fans think they know everything that’s going to happen. And they publicly said that they want to give the fans what they want.

Now, the opening segment of RAW consisted of them acknowledging the fans booing and Rocky Sucks chants and I read they were handing out #WeWantCody signs at the arena. I don’t know if that’s true.

There’s a swerve of some sort of magnitude incoming. Complete work. And excellent one at that.

Last night, as Cody readied himself to climb into bed and make love to his wife, the Rock emerged from the Rhodes’ master bathroom, embraced Cody, and said, “I’ve got this one, brother.”

Jabroni marks after heel Rock shows up with a mic and verbally eviscerates them until they realize this is all a work

The Rock's roided up arse won't last 5 minutes in a match before he's on the ground begging for oxygen.

Well it's been 'leaked' to the dirt sheets that everything, including The Rock being booed, is going exactly as planned. That's the narrative being pushed due to the storyline rejection by the fans. The plan is turn Cody into a mega babyface even though he's already the biggest face in the company.
Dont believe Meltzer, Rock pulling a Hogan

Honestly I think that’s why a triple threat would help. Will give the Rock a chance to get breathers.

Also don’t believe the was the plan all along. No way they brought the fricking Rock back and planned for him to get booed. At least credit to WWE, they adjusted a lot quicker than they did with Bryan.

Had not watched wrestling in many, many years. Now my youngest boy is entering that age where he's getting into it so I watch.

Yeah, it's scripted, but it's entertaining as hell and the athleticism of these guys and girls is unreal. They do take a beating too

I think they had a plan but with CM Punk’s injury and now the IWC soyboys threatening Simone, everything got altered and Dwayne got pissed (and rightfully so).

They knew what they were doing then too. Just because they didn’t give the vocal minority what they wanted right away with no build and no payoff doesn’t mean that 1. They didn’t know what they were doing nor 2. The neckbeards “forced” them to change their plans.

Yeah the way Cody left the ring hamming it up with sad faces while the camera made sure to catch every bit of it said enough imo.

Heel authority figure with IRL power in WWE, manipulating events and running interference for heel champion while trying to keep down white hot babyface.

Sound familiar anyone?
