The way this is going, RGIII might be the first player that we witness to actually die on the field. He has his entire life ahead of himself. He's made his money. He needs to retire and go back down to Waco and be a Color Analysts for Baylor games.

Almost happened with Chris Simms. Unknowingly played with a ruptured spleen, was bleeding internally while playing, and was rushed in to surgery right after the game:

No one has ever died in a football game professionally at least. It almost happened with the kermit Washington punch in basketball. Not sure about baseball. Sadly enough it happens not often but more than it should in horse racing probably on avg once a year. Happened a thistledowns a few years ago which is a track in Ohio. The rider was just 17 too. Cheap horse went ape shite and he fell off And got trampled.
