Well I was originally a Sonics fan all my life, then they moved to OKC and I became a Thunder fan since they're local.

Now wtf do I do?

I love the Thunder, but loved the Sonics. frick.

Have a #1a and #1b? Heh.

Good...most people in Sacramento won't even notice since they aren't any good.

frick those douchebag Maloofs for not looking for someone local before selling to a guy in Seattle. They had people willing to keep them in Sacramento.

Looks like it's official. The NBA has confirmed it and the Maloofs released a statement. The last step in the process is for it to be approved by the NBA relocation committee I believe, which should just be a formality.

They are the epitome of the fake 2000's financial bubble. And huge douchebags to boot. No one local was stupid enough to pay $525M for a shite franchise that had to play in a garbage arena that cost $40M to build back in the late 80s. The arena is located in a shitty suburban area that isn't even fully developed after 25 years of the arena being there. Just a complete real estate development failure in every way.

A new arena downtown was the only answer. Look for Mayor Kevin Johnson to make it his life mission to bring basketball back after he leaves office. The market here will absolutely support an NBA franchise provided they don't completely suck and don't have a cluster of selfish morons as owners.

They had good attendance back in the day when the team sucked and owners hadn't yet alienated the fanbase.

Meh. I feel kinda bad for the diehard fans. But it's hard to feel really bad considering California has 3 other teams.
