They guy lost 18 starters from the previous year and played most of the season with his 3rd string qb.

He should’ve gone 11-1 and been in the playoff if not for the BS 4th down call agains OSU.

I will never understand why coaches insist on loyalty to their own assistants when its to the detriment of their own job and organization. This is one good reason why Les Miles eventually got fired.

Either they're doing the job well enough and they can stay on or they're not doing the job well enough and they need to leave.

This is why it's not a good idea to hire your friends and family.

We'll see what happens this year I have faith in Drevno and we brought in Ed Warriner as an insurance policy/tutor

Khaki pants and no shirt is a bad look for an old man playing football with high school kids.

Spurrier can pull it off with a Coors in his hand.

Michigan will be fine. They had a down year and everyone acts like the sky is falling. If Patterson is ruled eligible, I think UM will be a force next year.

Feldmans tweeting that McElwain is going to be hired now. That's an interesting choice

Is he not qualified to be a QB/WR coach?

Just watch UF's WR/QB group the last 3 years and you tell me if Mac is any good.

The credibility issue stems from Harbaugh’s unwillingness to get rid of Tim Drevno,
sounds like some aren't falling in line behind the boss...

I'm still trying to figure out how UK went into Michigan and took their highest rated OL?

I truly believe that if Miles went to mich in 07, he'd have a saban-like run over last decade.

He would have had a good run. Probably multiple conference championships but he still would have had to beat Saban for a national championship.

That's a pretty bold claim considering they would have had to actually beat OSU to do it.

Michigan offered in February, he was scheduled to come to for our spring game in April didn't show up and committed to UK a few weeks after. UM never made a push to flip him. We got a OL from the same HS in 2017 class and he's transferring so that may have played a part.

Tressel's teams were beatable if you had the talent to do it. There isn't much difference between Miles and Tressel's styles, IMO. Miles was willing to gamble a good bit more often, but I'd have to imagine Miles and Michigan and Tressel at Ohio State would have been damn near mirror images of each other.
