Shane Battier and Ray Allen and the like were something before Lebron

Battier and Allen wouldnt be on the Heat. They only came to South Beach because of LeBron.

The role players I'm talking about that are better because of LeBron are like:
Chalmers
Cole
Anderson
Anthony
Haslem(always been a great role player)
Miller(would be done if it wasnt for a perfect situation in Miami right now)
Lewis(Same as mike Miller)

put Chalmers on a team lets just say like the Hornets...is he anywhere near to the level he plays at? probably not....

I'd still take him over Vasquez.

Do you not remember that Wade led them to a title in 2006 or that he lead the league in scoring in 2009?

That team had Shaq and Alonzo Mourning on it dumb arse

They would be the 3rd seed b\c the east is so weak.

You also can't use the argument for using Lebrons salary elsewhere because without Lebron Dwade and bosh would have both taken higher contracts.

They would be a very good team but their "team play" would decrease drastically because they dont have anyone really good at passing besides dwade but he is more of a volume scorer.

3 point shooting would decrease
Offense would decrease
defense would decrease.

Still a very good team though.

I understand that, but they only came because of LeBron. Now yes they would have gotten some other sort of role player.

I think fighting for 8 seed possibly.

No way, they'd be at least a top 5 seed (maybe 6th at worst).

Wade and Bosh together would still do fairly well.

Based on the top 4 seeds going to division winners they'd be an absolute lock (barring injuries) for 4th or higher.

Miami's division is absolute dogshit.

Im just doing what you asked me to do in the OP, removing Lebron from the roster and saying what record they would be

if you have any other opinion or are a fan of any players not LBJ, you are a hater and know nothing about basketball.

LBJ is undoubtedly one of the greatest players we will ever see, but some around here worship him. MSB has fallen a long way.

this heat team is good with out him

understandable...I guess I'm looking at the whole picture...I guess it looks like in the OP that I stated it like LeBron would go through a Derick Rose situation...my bad..

If LeBron were to go to the Bobcats would he win a title with a bunch of average role players? At the level he is playing right now...

Well this situation happened in Cleveland. He left and look what happend.........Yes they didnt have two superstars to fall back on like Miami would, but cleveland's role players that were playing high level basketball weren't anything without LeBron.

also remember that not having Bron would be a big psychological impact on the city, the fans, etc. it'd be like the bulls after MJ retired, Cleveland after LeBron left, the Lakers without Kobe, etc.

correct.

I thought this pic was funny...D-Wade and Ray Allen posing with Lebron's 3 MVP awards before he got his 4th...

No.

No one can do it one their own, at least not in today's NBA.

Yeah, but they would be a 45 win team without him. Or something. I just don't understand. I feel like some people have completely forgotten how amazing Wade and Bosh are. LeBron's amazingness has completely overshadowed how great Wade and Bosh are. It's kind of disappointing.

In no NBA we've ever seen yet. Dirk had plenty of help in 2011. Just few people appreciate non-scorers.

It is...Bosh gets a bad wrap because he is the 3rd wheel here. Wade can still turn it up at any moment, but can't do it every night anymore. I would love to see bosh matched up with another stud...I think he would be better off. Instead he will just collect championships

An agingbut still effective Shaq in 2006. And this team would have Bosh playing a staring role on it. Guess who played with Shaq a couple of years later and didn't win a title. Also, in 2009 the Heat were a 5 seed without Bosh and Wade led the league in scoring.

So you essentially agree with me, but call me a dumb arse. That is strange.
