Jordan Jefferson had a 80 yard TD run against Tenn. That doesn't make him a better runner than Vince Young.

Of course not, but nobody would ever say that JJ's "never" broken off a long run either.

Sorry, I figured that consistency of play was implied. But I forgot that I'm dealing with people who are about a standard deviation lower on the IQ scale than myself.

Everyone disagrees so they must be dumber than you. Got it

No

It's just that it should be obvious that consistency is implied when you're talking about someone with years of NFL experience

He never played with any consistency in the run game

can you do basic things like listen to the radio over the sound of all that cognitive dissonance?

Translation: Whatever. I'm smarter than you.

Consistency of play after 2 drives in the opening game of the season.

All I know is that Bush is going to have his best year of his career to date barring injury.

You can quote me on that.

No body is arguing how well Bush will do this year, they're only laughing at your evaluation of him after 2 drives and one 13 yard run.

I think most of us are cheering Reggie on as well.

well that is not really saying anything - any year that Reggie Bush had without injuries would be his best year of his career to date

I don't really care how Reggie does. I was making an observation. His style of running is what it always should have been. He was attacking the holes well between the tackles.

Unfortunately for him those holes weren't there later in the game. The Dolphins line was getting dominated after the first quarter.

Disagree. I thought he was the same Reggie we've always seen on the field.

Right, but one game isn't consistency. One drive isn't consistency. And one run certainly isn't consistency. So you can't come with talks of consistency as compared to an virtually nonexistent sample size.

And he was consistent in NO. Consistently mediocre. Consistently running east-west. Consistently frustrating to watch. And most importantly, consistently injured.

I can't stand Reggie Bush, but I appreciate his contributions while he was here, and don't wish ill will to him in Miami. Maybe he'll thrive there, maybe not. But the Saints's offense is one that he should've thrived big time in, and he simply didn't. So we'll see.

I think Payton gets too cute at times

He should have just used him as a running back and cut down on trying to spread him out as a WR and all that jazz

Because he stubbornly refused to run north and south

Looks like he wasn't dancing as much last night
