They decided to not play a game, for which they are paid $Million$, on a cause that had nothing to do with their job or performance in playing a game.
This wasn’t some boycott/strike for a new CBA...
None will be on the frontlines “peacefully” protesting, they will sit in a bubble or go back to gated mansions and tweet.
Respect? That’s a NO.

I appreciate their willingness to take a stand, but I'm not sure what they expect to accomplish.
Boycotts/protests are used to bring attention to an issue, and to put pressure for change.
I don't think lack of attention to the issue is a problem. Everyone knows about the issue.
As far as pressure for change, the NBA doesn't the ability to force police departments in liberal cities to not be racist.
Now, if they were to say, we are all going to take our playoff salaries and combine them to buy body cams for police departments, ok, now you are actually doing something.

take a stand and sacrifice something important to them for a cause they believe in.
Nope, they were too chicken shite to actually do it. Figures, this is all for show. No one actually thinks Black Lives Matter, even black people.

I mean I already laid this out 2 or 3 times
- forfeit a playoff game
- possibly sacrifice the rest of the playoffs
- lots of $$$ if the season doesn't resume
None of those 3 things happened. You need to look up the definition of sacrifice.

I said it’s possible it wouldn’t happen. They were still willing to have it happen

No they weren’t

Doesn’t their recent decision show this to be false.

Games are back on. Racism still exists. What exactly did they follow through on?

Yes I am aware that it is possible none of that happens, but by not playing yesterday they willingly opened up the possibility for all of that to happen, all for a cause they believe in.
I'm so brave and dedicated to my goal. I'm going to go out and do something that could end with my death. I hope you respect my choice.
BTW, the dangerous thing that could lead to my death is . . . I'll be driving later today and I'm in Louisiana. The drivers here are insane.
Pray for me.

Regardless of your opinion on the issue you gotta respect these guys for following through
Hong Kong is less free today & those Muslim "vocational camps" are still running smoothly in China.

Bucks chose to boycott one game. Lebron has to 1 up them because, well it’s Lebron and he in the end wants everything to be about him. That’s all this is, nothing to see here.
