Nice. I was going to load up on Minny. I would have broken my laptop watching that.

Players aren’t trying. They are getting big contracts then doing shite after. Can’t blame them. I wouldn’t risk long term heath for a league that is blatantly rigged.

At some point a gambler will lose a bet with such a call and there will be a lawsuit that will open the floodgates.

The NFL might have been able to easily get such a suit dismissed prior to the consumation of their marriage to sports betting but since they now share in the largesse there are several states where such an action could be pursued.

The timing on the schedule of the two calls isn't even comparable so I really don't want to hear it from a Vikings fan. Especially since they have complained about the bounties for 15 years.

I hate the Rams, but the Vikings fans can also frick off.

Couldn't happen to a better team.

We had to deal with it a number of times (Fail Mary, which ended the replacement refs, and a few others)...so I'll allow it.

Did you watch the game? Those 5 were all pretty damn obvious penalties.

There's no rule that the penalties have to be equal for both teams.

It's why sports fandom has waned.

To think players spilled their guts for pennies on the dollar to make these future insane $ livelihoods....

When you don't have to care and win to make a living, all is lost on the fans.

Because, what are you rooting for but spoiled/entitled laundry?

Nope. Been covered here over and over and over.

They have no legal standing with an "entertainment" industry. The NFL can rig games all it wants. You pay for a ticket or bet on it, that's on you. They provided the entertainment.

Until people quit watching, it won't change. With gambling so involved in the sport now, no one will quit watching.

I know it is rigged, so I only play fantasy football. $50 entry fee for a whole season in hopes to win a few hundred bucks at the end is fine with me. I follow stats, etc, but quit watching games years ago. I go into every fantasy draft not knowing who went to what team, etc. Just guess. So many injuries now anyway, along with players that quit trying after they get a big payday.

not to nitpick but that is the umpire and he is supposed to be looking at the OL as his primary

the white hat has the quarterback as his primary and he is looking right at it and he missed it or blew it

the white hat did not see it from the front like we did, but darnold’s head spinning around should have been enough for the flag

I am not a believer in “rigged” games but to answer why would the NFL rig that game? parity

minnesota was 5-1 going into the game tied for first in the NFCN
LAR were 2-4 and dead last in the NFCW

one game result and the LAR season has new life while MN season doesnt change very much

I reffed HS basketball and many times I said “nah I’m not calling that” but I didnt have the entire world watching my work.

The Vikings were down by 8 in their own EZ. it did not determine the game

It is another example of NOT assuming conspiracy something that can be explained by incompetence

This may be one of the most idiotic statements that I have read on this board in a long time.

Do you really believe that sports leagues, casinos, race tracks, etc can rig games/races all they want because they provided the entertainment?

Go research the rulings. Only takes a few minutes if you are familiar with the search engines bing or google.

Sports leagues absolutely can. Been discussed here many times. Does't matter how many times it is posted, the true believers deny the existence of it.

I know how to read, and I know what was put in print.

Start with the Jets fans suing the NFL after the NFL admitted the Patriots were cheating (the first time) and go from there.

After that, keep denying reality while wasting your time on your couch watching them blatantly "miss" calls for the favored teams.

kronke runs the shite now, it's the reason jerrah was sucking his dick during the rams to LA shite. Kroenke has become top dog in NFL ownership race. The old er owners, like Giants, etc are no ones, just owners.

It wasn't like it was a facemask where the runner was already going down to the ground and it would have been hard to see if you weren't in the exact right position. That happens.

Last night, Darnold was ripped around and taken off of his f*cking feet entirely BY HIS F*CKING FACEMASK. I'm sorry, but much like the Saints missed purposeful pass interference, there is no f*cking way on God's green Earth that all seven motherf*ckers could have missed that.

And, I don't give a sh!t about the Vikings. I don't give a sh!t about the Rams. The Saints don't have a f*cking chance and are already out of the playoffs. So, this just the opinion of a nonbiased fan who saw it in real time and couldn't f*cking believe that all seven of these c*cksuckers missed it. In the end, it probably wouldn't have mattered anyway as the Vikings would have had to go down the field - which they couldn't do in the second half -- score a touchdown, and then get a 2-point conversion just to tie it with just 1:40 left and no time outs.

Everyone on that crew should either be fired, or, AT THE VERY LEAST, be banned from post season jobs for 5 years. Until you start doing that, this will continue to go on. All of the other refs will continue to refuse to make such an obvious call so as to not call out the person looking directly at it and missing it. Of course, we know that will never happen. The f*cking clown on the missed Saints call was doing the f*cking Super Bowl like two years later -- he was f*cking REWARDED for f*cking the Saints.

Ripped off his f*cking feet...

facemasks are a major safety issue so the booth should be able to call down w/them just like they do w/targeting.

Stop your cackling Kamala and learn how to comprehend what you read.

Ever heard of that Black Sox Scandal?

Just because proving intent is difficult, doesn't mean FIXING games is legal.

I don't expect you to understand cupcake.
