Really, Str8$? You couldn't see the joke? I thought you were better than that!

"Don't pander to the PC crowd."

Washington, D.C.

The PC capital of the world?

Get it?

The Indians logo is pretty much the only NA sports related thing that I would change.

yes its an awful joke, redskins games are far from the PC crowd. More like rednecks and people from the hood thrown in with people from the suburbs.

I didn't "comically" reference anything. The leprechaun mascot of the fighting irish is every bit as derogatory as a team being called redskins. Your ignorance is showing and I feel sorry for you.

Pretty messed up, imo. Especially considering the fact we jacked their country and slaughtered the majority of them.

I thought you were being sarcastic. My apologies, but I don't agree that the two names are equally offensive.

Saints offends me horribly.

And I can't wait for someone to refer to me as a "Fighting Irish" to my face. The term is racially stereotypical and I would beat the shite out of anyone who said it to me.

My ancestors were Huguenots and ruthlessly and relentlessly persecuted by the Catholic Church. They were imprisoned, executed, and ultimately driven out of their homelands.

Every time I see, read, or hear something regarding the New Orleans Saints it offends and hurts me deeply.

Maybe the football team in Los Angeles will be called the LA Blackskins. Or, maybe the Tar Babies.

The Indian Tribe should open up a casino called "The Dirty Jew" Casino or "The Slimy Heab" Resort until The Redskins change their name.

It's the equivalent to the New Mexico "Wetbacks" or the Mississippi Rednecks.

New Mexico Spaniards or the Mississippi Southerners are not derogatory where the other nicknames are.

Plus...it is not the white man's place to tell them what should offend them.

It's inappropriate and needs to be changed.

Of course not as much now. We, as a nation, killed almost all of them.

While I disagreed, you were so reasonable up to this point. But that's just objectively wrong.

There's no "we" here, first of all, since none of us were born. Secondly, it is estimated that 90% of Native Americans in the Americas died before contact firsthand with Europeans even happened, once settlers first hit the east coast. Why damage the credibility of an otherwise reasonable opinion with an apoplectic and dishonest statement?

Because Euro diseases killed them off.

Thanks for reaffirming my point.

Or were you trying to suggest that they died of spontaneous dicksplosion or something, unrelated to the Europeans?
