Owner gives the ok, to start the fire sale.

If Walt plays this right, he could reap a boat load of players. But his game was always dealing prospects for Vets to get the last legs out of them.

Aroldis won't go to LALA land

He needs to go to StL so he can start the Cuban Heritage Center of Mid-America. Puig can do it out west.

Plus Mickey Mouse and Hollywood don't like real life Cubans, just fake ones.

I find it hard to believe, that Walt makes a deal with Houston.

Walt dislikes Luhnow more than anyone in Cardinal Org ever has. Luhnow was the reason Walt was canned. They couldn't work together, so each had an ultimatum and Luhnow won. Mo was benefactor of the fight.

Either Chapman or Kimbrel will end up in DC.

I think Cueto winds up in New York after a half year rental.

I just don't know who wants Cueto enough to mortgage the future

We need prospects. Looks like Leake, Cueto and Bruce are up for grabs among others. I think we hold onto Aroldis until the trade deadline next year if we're not contending. Phillips doesn't have much left in the tank either, so who knows what we'll do.

Also saw where we might trade Byrd. We've only had him for about 4 months so that doesn't surprise me.

You need to deal Chapman before Leake or Cueto

I think a lefty reliever isn't as hard to replace as a starter

Artie Moreno is crazy enough to tell the Angels get Cueto and trade all of Arkansas for him.

If he can't put his petty personal grudges aside and make the best deal for his team, then the Reds are in worse shape than it looks like. There's only 29 teams with which to deal. You don't act like a petulant child and eliminate a team because "I don't like that guy".

I can't think of any team that could use Cueto and Chapman more than the Blue Jays.

If he goes to LA/Anaheim/California/Orange County/Riverside/Santa Monica/Disneyland/Space Mountain Angels he may sign long term.

I'm not sure I want them to make that deal but all I'm saying is the Astros have Dallas Keuchel acing, two pitchers in McHugh and Feldman with ERAs in the 4's and 2 rookies who skipped AAA. Plus 0 effective left handers in our pen.
