at this point they are the favorite.

No pujols in STL

No fielder in MIL. Braun possible suspension.

If no other moves are made (and the Reds aren't done).

1. Cincinnati (91-71)
2. St. Louis (85-77)
3. Milwaukee (81-81)
4. Pittsburgh (78-84)
5. Chicago (76-86)
6. Houston (10-152)

The Brewers and Cards will have better rotations then the Reds

but the Reds will have a better offense than the Brewers

Cards will still hit...I can see the Cards getting Beltran to play RF moving Berkman to 1st making a pretty good line-up

Am I missing some other moves the Reds have made this offseason that will get them 10-15 more wins?

The Brewers have Greinke, Gallardo and Marcum coming back with K Rod and Axford closing out. So we lost 40 hr and 120 RBI, I think ARam softens that blow some.

Obviously I'm still holding out hope Braun gets off the hook.

But right now, automatic front runner over the world series champ and division champ.

1. The Red Sox had better sign Beltran. I can't have another Cardinal on my TDBL team.

2. Berkman should be moving to 1B anyway, right?

3. I think the Reds rotation has closed the gap significantly, but they are indeed 3rd out of those teams. However, their offense is better than both Milwaukee and St. Louis. I expect their bullpen to be too, unless they sign Brad Lidge.

They were ravaged by injuries last year. This is the same team that won the division in 2010 with 91 wins, except more experienced now.

ETA: And not having to face Pujols, Fielder, and Braun (for 50 games) always helps.

Wow. Pretty shocking.

Great trade for the Reds getting another ace on staff for some promising magic beans.

Cueto was fricking beasting last year.

I think only Kershaw had a better ERA.

Maybe that was stretching it a bit at this point in time... but Cueto and Latos make a formidable 1-2 punch. Cueto certainly has the potential in becoming an "ace".

Until I get that crushing confirmation that Braun will be out for 50 games, I'm not conceding shite
