Redditor is concerned about the integrity of the sport of fantasy football

"Injuries are a part of the game, get over it" only applies to draftable players.
The idea that an undraftable player completely unrelated to fantasy can get hurt and keep out Joe Burrow or Diggs or whatever is absolutely absurd. This is not skill-based competition. Yes, you have to suck it up if YOUR player gets injured because YOU made that draft choice, but your guys playing being contingent on the health of a random defender that ISN'T even a part of the draft is beyond ridiculous. It's not in the realm of "just deal with it." This debacle has the potential to undermine the entire core concept behind fantasy football itself.
Commissioners should take appropriate and fair actions. LEAVING THINGS AS THEY ARE IS NOWHERE NEAR FAIR AND AKIN TO CHEATING THOSE WHO DRAFTED ALLEN, DIGGS, MIXON, BURROW, AND CHASE.

I’m appalled. We should ban Reddit as a result. Except for the NSFW portions.

I used to be in a keeper pay league and this kind of ridiculous shite is why I left.
It’s fantasy. Literally in the name.
As in not real life

This guy definitely tells all of his friends about his “big money league”.

Yea if our league took shite this seriously I’d be done.

Maybe I’m dumb or drunk, probably both, but can someone explain his point like I’m 5?

Reddit is terrible
I was looking at one of those horrible Reddit meet-up threads the other day, and it occurred to me that almost no one on that site has a normal head. It's like 45% pinheads, 45% card-carrying members of the Dome Patrol, and 5% normies who wandered in by accident:

I'm in the championship game of our fantasy football league and the guy I'm playing against had Diggs last night and he's down by 15. Not sure what to do.

Reset the score for Diggs and take his week 18 stats?

This picture does not surprise at all. Literally people who do not benefit anything to society and whine on reddit about being disadvantaged.

That asian guy in the middle is thinking why am I here?

Everyone I know playing in a fantasy league championship put in limbo by the situation yesterday decided to split the prize winnings between each other. Only if they had players in that game. Problem solved in that scenario IMO.
What did online betting/daily fantasy/sports books do?

There's a thin slice of Reddit that is incredibly entertaining, but nearly 95% of it is a cesspool of betas

I am as well. Only player left is Allen who's on my opponents team, and I'm up by 24.72 points. We decided to just go with whatever the platform (NFL.com) does.
