4 hour 9 inning game
I’m about ready for baseball to make a limit on pitching changes

That win completely erases last night from the history books. What a fricking win.

After last night an LA win today would have been tough to overcome
They had all the momentum and we took it from them

They might want to try and fix that

I would change it to whoever starts the inning should have to finish the inning.

Dave Dombrowski had a better deadline this year than any year Theo ever had. Only year that comes close for Theo is 2004 (and ok, maybe I'm in the moment and I have to admit it comes very close with the Nomar out/Doug Mientkiewicz, O Cab in deal

Love the Playoffs and WS, love seeing career journeymen shine on the big stage with clutch efforts that show their inherent elite talents and skills, but that somehow oft eluded career consistency..
Fun to see Pearce re-channel his inner 2004-2005 USC Gamecock self this season, as. a Jay and now Bosox spelling for Moreland.

Hope the dodgers win G5 so it goes back to Fenway for the crowning of the Red Sox

I remember the MLB experts rave about landing Pearce as a Lefty killer and calling it a huge move at the deadline..for Boston flexibility.
Not a sexy move by the casual fan, but the MLB insiders knew Beantown had added a great bench piece.

I like Alex, papi and big hurt taking about the game, but they suck as interviewers

Papi is god awful. Seems like a fun guy to be around but his takes are not super insightful. At least he’s not trying too hard like Arod I guess.

Wathcing the post game on NESN and they are showing manny machado going out of his way to cleat Steve Pearce on that 9th inning play. Really takes an obvious angle to spike him. Guy is such a low-life.

That's not true. Just less than 4 years ago. The sport is healthy AF.

Watching highlights on MLB Network and somehow Hill was blowing 91 past good Sox hitters. I don't get it.

His fastball moves a lot.

He was able to throw his breaking ball for strikes, so they had to respect it and couldn't just sit on the fastball. He was executing his fb location very well. He is just solid at his craft, and its good to see. He was well-loved as a Red Sox and has an excellent relationship with the Boston Organization.
