Cora really needs to be second-guessed about not walking Puig and facing Barnes instead of letting Puig bat. Kinsley made the error and should have just held the ball, but Puig should have been walked IMO

The only reason I didn’t have a problem with it is because Eovaldi was dealing.
If his 2B makes an ‘uncomfortable’ play (at worst) it’s 3-0.
Puig didn’t haul arse down the line and Kinsler rushed it. He could have taken a step to gather himself and been fine.

Puig is a much more dangerous hitter than Barnes obviously, I wouldn't have given him a shot with 1B open and Barnes up next.
I will say Evoldi has made himself some money this postseason, dude has looked legit. All that promise he had is finally coming through with health.

That was kind of a weird hit though. That's probably a hit more than 80% of the time with how hard he hit it and the launch angle on it. It just had really weird tailing action on it that kept it from going straight up the middle like it looked like it would right off the bat. I feel like they seemingly got lucky and unlucky on the same play

Tomorrow’s game should have been a day game imo. Get away day and I get it’s up against the NFL. But I truly think they should always play a weekend day game in the World Series.

I like it for shitty, shitty, horrible, deplorable NL rules. Fact of the matter is someone has to sit, and I don't like the idea of my best player who happens to be an OF playing the second most difficult IF position, so I am hoping for redemption from the corpse of Ian Kinsler.
Jackie came carried the torch last night for Benny, hopefully Benny carries it for Jackie tonight.
I feel good about E Rod, and I feel really good about an elite AL lineup facing former Red Sox and Milton MA's own Dick Mountain - hopefully he will be and embedded Sox tonight. We have four chances to get two and end this deal how it should end. It starts tonight.
The Bums held serve last night, but had to go to 47 deuces to do it. PJ's prediction still has life. New streak for Sox starts tonight.
ETA: No Kinsler, Holt in
