Every pitching move the dodgers have made, beginning with leaving hill to start the 7th has not worked. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anything like it. They don’t deserve the benefit of the doubt.
At what point is it the players’ fault for not performing? I’d say a manager must be doing shite at least halfway right to be in the World Series two straight years.

So why is it so crazy that they wanted him to pitch against the best hitters in the lineup?
There was absolutely nothing wrong with that move, assuming his manager/pitching coach trust him. shite if it works out the talk tomorrow is how he went against convention to use his closer as a "relief ace" to get the meat of the lineup.
I was one of the guys saying that Eovaldi evened the ledger when it came to how taxed pens were from last night and I still think I'm right there and that the Dodger pen was every bit as affected as the Sox pen, just in a different fashion.
Kimbrel was in for 1.1 last night, we are gonna see in a minute if he has any hangover

Looks like the Sox have a horse shoe up their arse tonight

But the manager keeps putting in players that have failed multiple times in similar situations. Where the frick was Baez? He’s been their best reliever the entire postseason.

Dave Roberts is low key pushing himself out the door as the Dodgers skipper

Tony LaRussa ruined baseball.
He started this pitching change shite after every batter in the 90's.
Before that - if a guy was hot, you rode him and there was no fricking pitch count.
fricking Jack Morris finished out his game in the World Series. Orel Hershisher.
No, this guy has a 5% better chance of hitting against a righty than a lefty so I'm going to take out my righty who has been pitching awesome for some lefty sitting in the bullpen and pitched 70 innings all year.

I don’t follow the Dodgers or really any NL team for that matter. I’m not aware of their pitching trends, I just know my shitty Rangers did the same thing with Sam Dyson that Kenley did there.
Dyson was our ‘closer’ but he was used pretty much in every high leverage situation we found ourselves in, in our last two division titles. This is not a new trend at all.

Woohoo! Good move Roberts. Way to help speed up this season being over so I can focus on football. It’s much appreciated

I'd Machado is worth so much, and/or Harper, then Corbin and Eovaldi are gonna get massive deals too. Because they are up ticking while Kershaw and Keuchel down ticking a tad.

Bobby Cox read that book too

Should have never removed that pitcher in the 7th.
