We’ll never know exactly what the percentage breakdown at the Trop was but when the Fox and MLB postgame shows continually talk about how they’ve never seen visiting fans show up like that it furthers a narrative that doesn’t look positive for Rays fans
Unless they were talking only about world series games, then that would be an odd thing to say. Yankee games draw 30-40% opposing fans. Red Sox games aren’t far behind that. I promise you big papi, jeter and arod have witnessed opposing fans filling the trop. It’s really bad when the rays suck and Yankees come to town. The majority will be Yankee fans, and they are excessively belligerent.
The worst of this are Bucs games, because crowd noise can actually be a factor in the game outcome. The stadium gets loud while the Bucs offense is on the field. You can’t drown out the opposing fans with boos. The Steelers game 2 weeks ago was brutal. The players hate that shite. This is what is tough about being a Tampa bay fan.

My 10 year old daughter who has zero interest in sports and was able to infer that WS games are what they were talking about. Anyone who has watched a single inning in their life should’ve been able to grasp that it’s what they were referring to.

That’s great
I didn’t watch
I’m glad they weren’t full of shite
But if anyone came away with the impression that there were more brewers fans in the trop at first pitch last night, then that would have been incorrect.

Par for the course for Rays fans. Poverty fanbase for a poverty organization.
TheHOcean, update the thread title. Game 4 is coming up and your poverty team is about to get SWEPT!

I was at the game

Y’all let the Brew Crew fans walk into your trap and take over your trap LMAOOOOO

Should I beat them up for coming to baseball game?
ETA: when the rays suck, Yankee fans outnumber us in the trop, so even beyond the legal ramifications, violence isn’t really an option there

So like that dump little league park in Brooklyn when the Red Sox show up to play your poverty franchise.

Dumbest post in this thread so far rookie. The New York Yankees have put the Racist Red Sox on a train back to that cesspool Boston from the Bronx two years in a row. Take a lap junior.

We really shouldn’t be focusing on fan attendance. I really don’t know why people from New York or anywhere else GAF about Tropicana filed attendance.
What matters is how good the teams are, and the rays are the best team in the American League, so that makes me better than you.

Bruh…I’m not saying fight them, I’m saying sell out your stadium for a WORLD SERIES GAME.

Pretty sure the main reason the Rays exist is for snow birds to see their team play

The game was sold out
There’s not really much you can do to prevent opposing fans from buying tickets
Since this is such a great place to live/visit, opposing fans are going to come to games here
I’m not sure why it is such a concern for you
I’m not better than you because the rays don’t have many fans. I am better than you because the rays are better than the Yankees
Your gripe is with Yankee management

How many Brew Crew fans in the Trop are actually Yankee/ Red Sox fans. What's the percentage ??.
I do want the Brewers to sweep for work purposes

Being in an enclosed dome amplifies sound. Plus the crowds are mic'd up, so it's more apparent watching in HD on Fox. There's no question a large number of Brewers fans are there, and they are loud. There were not more Brewers fans than Rays fans in the Trop last night. Tonight on the other hand, we'll see. I hope the Rays haven't folded. Pulling for Brewers, but want to see good baseball.

And again making this thread about the Yankees while your team is playing in the World Series.
How about this: Don’t sell your tickets jabroni!
Posted on 10/27/26 at 4:31 pm to JerryTheKingBawler
The stadium is a shithole (used to live in Florida and have gone to games there) so it’s not a surprise that their fans are selling to Brewers fans. Plane/Hotel/Ticket costs for two people is cheaper than just the tickets in Milwaukee. I’m watching the Milwaukee pregame and there is a guy who got on his bike this morning, is driving to Atlanta today, and will either wake up to go to Game 5 or back home for the parade. Milwaukee itself is insane. There were more fans for a watch party outside the Bucks arena than were in it for the Bucks game last night. (The joke a night was they should’ve put the Brewers game on the scoreboard and sold it as a watch party with free Bucks game.)
I do find these merch sales reports suspect. The MLBPA is going to use all of this against the owners and I fear it will prolong the lockout.
