Jon Daniels is really testing my fandom to the Rangers. If this fatass waste of space dons a Rangers uniform I might be done

Yeah... Yankees need an outfielder waayyyy more than Rangers need Joba I would think.

Has to be more to it than that...

Well considering Gentry's name in the fold, the Yankees have plenty of those types of OF's with Brett and Ichiro.... So they don't need another speed/defensive no pop guy manning the OF. So yes the Yankees need OF help but not a guy exactly like two of the guys they currently have.

If the Rangers are getting that desparate for pitching, then maybe this board needs to apologize to me for my prediction of a 4th place finish in the AL West.

And I will accept all apologies, sincere or not.

Brett Gardner and Craig Gentry are in the same mold. I'd think Mitch Moreland would be someone the Yankees would be more interested in.

That's what I was saying above, Gentry, Garnder, Ichiro in the OF could cover a lot of ground but as a group may hit 18 home runs. Yankees could sacrifice speed/defense for someone with a bit of pop

The Yankees are hurting for CI help with A-Rod and Teix out... although with Granderson out their OF doesn't look all that strong either.

You are such a retard if you truly believe the Mariners or Astros will finish ahead of the Rangers. Do you think Hamilton is worth 15-20 wins?

I hope this is not going to happen... some people were thinking it might be time to trade some of these A ballers for a Mike Olt. Given the depth of OFers in the minors, I would say acquiring someone who can play corner infield and mash, has to be worth more than trading for a Gentry. As it stands, I would rather have Joba.

The Astros will finish last. We can both agree on that.

But Oakland and LAA will finish ahead of Texas. So it's simply a case of whether Seattle has made any strides for improvement and/or how much of an impact Josh's departure will have on the offense.

If you're looking to bring Joba onto your roster, doesn't that speak volumes about how bad your pitching really is?
