And USC for the majority of their history...Tailback U, remember.

Fun fact:

At least 1 Trojan has appeared in all but 3 of the 41 Super Bowls (there have been 92 USC representatives overall). Two Trojans (Lynn Swann in 1976 and Marcus Allen in 1984) have been the Super Bowl MVP.

Right, I know. What I orginally wanted to say was that only OSU and Texas are really elite teams, but I didn't want to get into some pissing match about a&m and Wisconsin's place in the college football pecking order so I just mentioned QBs.

A year ago Arizona had never had a QB drafted.

Stanford and Cal have done pretty well:

Stanford: Jim Plunkett (2 starts), John Elway (5 starts)

Cal: Craig Morton (2 starts, 2 different teams), Joe Kapp (1 start), Aaron Rodgers (1 start)

I mention them because to you southern folk, you probably see them historically as "not much better than Delaware."
