Some bells are harder to unring than others. I suspect, there are going to be no take-backs on those comments. People at ESPN and now people, in general, have divided the troops and many have known this to be out there for a while. A year already and this is the first time Nichol feels the need to correct a poor choice of words. Too little too late.

Why exactly do we need diversity ? If you’re the best candidate, you get the job. How about legit competition? I never agreed with affirmative action.

Supposedly, she relented only after ESPN agreed not to let Nichols appear on the show. But ESPN snuck in some prerecorded segments of Nichols, annoying Taylor. I wonder which one ESPN value more...

This...i honestly believe this is the best move anyway. ESPN needs to keep cleaning house and bring in new blood anyway. This is the best/easy way out and ESPN is turning it into a soap opera. Can them both and move on. Malika Andrews is better than both anyway.
