Pride Can you add air yards per attempt?

I'd swap out TD and INT per game for TD% and INT%. It's much more efficient IMO.

Its basically gonna come down to whether voters want a historically great year in terms of gross stats or efficiency.

you got plenty of "INT" stats on there to give Brees enough columns dont ya
Do we really need 4 separate categories to tell us Brees hasnt thrown many INTs?

I have 3.5 int stats and 2.5 td stats Seems fairly balanced

You're not wrong, and don't get me wrong, Mahomes is a very deserving candidate without question.

In the grand scheme, it would just be really shitty since this same scenario played out in 2011, and Rodgers got the nod for MVP(rightfully so IMO) based on efficiency, but Brees clearly had the better gross stats.

And to that note, Brees, of all QBs, to miss out on an MVP for a dude with gross stats would just be really shitty considering he'll likely retire as the all time passing yards and passing TD leader but without an MVP. He's essentially the king of Gross yards/TDs but will never have an MVP, and a dude with gross stats in yards/TDs will win over him?

Brees has also led the NFL in passing yards 7 times, passing TDs 4 times, and he's led in both in the same season twice, once in a 13-3 season. And again, no MVP.

But why?

Like I said, TD% and INT% are really the only ones you need, the rest can be discarded. The % number gives the best indicator of TDs and INTs, better than the rest combined IMO.

Because most people still want to see tds and ints per game

If I take them off people will ask for them......

It gives neither player an advantage by including both

Brees owns both int ones, and Mahommes owns both Td ones

No. It doesn't. Scoring touchdowns is how you win football games. Jalen Hurts and Jordan Jefferson were very capable of throwing few interceptions. The touchdowns were the issue.

Damn big shel, all this time I saw you try to poke fun at those who were interested in the MVP race. Did you turn over a new leaf?

Brees led the league in TD passes on a 7-9 team before.

That 7.75 TD/INT is incredible.
